Laser scanning & point cloud raw data
Most of the Revit models we produce are delivered after we have undertaken a laser scan survey of the property, carefully controlled and detailed by our professional survey teams. Laser scanning captures the building as a 3 dimensional point cloud. We are also happy to produce 3d models from your provided point cloud data, or other existing survey data.

BIM Brief
A lot has been written about the capability of BIM to make cost savings for the construction industry. It’s important to set expectations before BIM work is begun. Topographical BIM
Many of the sites we survey require a detailed land survey showing features and levels. In addition, surrounding elevations are often required, along with other height information. We provide many of our Architect and Consulting Engineer clients with the topographical surface modelled in Revit. Walls, trees, lamp posts and other 3D topographical features can be shown in the model. The facades of the surrounding buildings can be included in the model, and we can show all windows and doors opening onto a site for planning applications and rights of light requirements.
